Now the real question is that whether iOS 4.2.6 is vulnerable to Geohot’s Limera1n exploit or not? MuscleNerd of iPhone Dev Team thinks it probably is:
MuscleNerd: If the i4 crypto engine couldn’t get those, it would have been bad sign for limera1n. But it did, so there’s still hope.Cause If it isn’t, then Verizon iPhone 4 users wont be able to jailbreak until and unless someone finds another bootrom exploit in the new hardware.
MuscleNerd: @damon_taylor If limera1n is still there, it means at *least* tethered JB on 0-day (and for those who buy early, forever)We will of course get to know more about this come February 10th. Till then, stay tuned.
